My hydrangeas are starting to leaf out. What should I do in order for them to bloom again as when I first planted them during spring last year? |
Hydrangeas develop flowers on new growth so in order to have the most new growth you need to prune your hydrangeas back. Cut all of the stems down to half their size. This will encourage new stems to develop and each new stem should produce a flower. As your hydrangea grows, prune it every spring, cutting it down to about knee high. Enjoy! |
