| We have a large patch of raspberry plants that bear in July. Weeds are again quickly emerging. Other than hoeing, how can we control these weeds? Chemicals? Thanks! |
| If you lay a thick layer of newspapers or cardboard and cover over them with straw you can keep weeds from sprouting up in your raspberry patch. Or, you can use a weed whacker in the paths to keep the weeds down. I'm afraid you will still have to pull or hoe those weeds that are closest to the canes. |
