| My Fiance recently bought two peach trees from one of your centers. My question is who does the purchasing for your nursery. The peach trees she brough home are desert gold. These trees are not meant for utah!!! I don't have the receipt to take the trees back, who can help? FYI stop selling these as they will survive in Salt Lake City but they will not bear fruit |
| I agree with you, Desert Gold peaches will not bear fruit in Salt Lake City. We at the Q & A forum can help solve gardening problems but we don't have a direct contact with the purchasing department. My suggestion is to take the trees back to your local garden center and explain to them that they are the wrong cultivars for your growing region. I suspect they will exchange the trees with a more suitable cultivar. The garden center manager will benefit from your observations, as well. Thanks for the information! |
