Floratam is a hybrid St. Augustine and is more disease resistant than standard St. Augustine. The appearance is similar but the roots and stems of Floratam are sturdier and more able to take stresses from drought and attacks from cinch bugs and grubs. You can use the same products on Floratam as you do on St. Augustine.
