|do you have any suggestions for low maintenance? hard to cut grass.|
|It sounds as though a groundcover plant would be best for the area. Some suggestions include:
Vinca minor, Knock Out carpet rose, spreading junipers such as:
Juniperus chinensis ?Holbert? ? Holbert Juniper. Grows to a height of 2-4 ft with a spread of 6-12 ft. Full sun, low water needs (xeric). Silvery-blue foliage on a low-growing, widely spreading form. Retains its attractiveness through the winter. Mostly scale-type foliage.
Or Lagerstroemia indica ?Prostrata Rosey Carpet? ? Rosey Carpet Prostrate Crepe Myrtle. This groundcover crepe myrtle grows just 6" tall with a 3 ft. spread. Flowers non-stop throughout the growing season with bright pink flowers. Great as a groundcover.
