Hi, I have heard that there are plants I can plant in my garden that will keep away pests. Someone told me basil will keep away mosquitos and rosemary will keep away cabage moths, etc. Is this true? And where can I find more information on this type of companion planting?

According to scientific research, (and backyard experiments), companion planting can help keep pests away. There are many combinations of plants that seem to help each other out. For a complete listing, read the Encyclopedia of Organic Gardening published by Rodale Press, ISBN 0-87596-599-7. Your library or local bookstore can find a copy for you.
