I have a slightly decending back yard. I have a hard time keeping grass on the shallow spot. last year I tilled the dirt seeded and the lawn came up but was sparce, by winter it was bare again. any ideas |
It may be that the spot doesn't hold enough moisture (or perhaps it puddles and holds too much?) In either case you may want to try digging the area again, add some organic matter (such as compost) to help the soil drain well yet hold just the right amount of moisture, then overseed again. If it still doesn't take, you may need to redesign the landscape and plant a low growing groundcover in the area. Hope it doesn't come to that! |
