Most vegetables will adapt to growing in containers so what you grow will depend upon the depth of your containers. For instance, in 4 inche pots you can grow small individual plants such as chives; in 6 inch pots you can grow leaf lettuce, green onions, summer radishes, hot peppers and strawberry. Eight inch deep pots will accommodate cherry tomato, romaine lettuces; 10 inch pots are suitable for carrots, spinach, broccoli, bibb lettuce, and bell pepper. A 13 inch or 4 gallon pot is ideal for tomato, eggplant, cucumber, pepper, squash, beans, and peas. Enjoy your moveable feast!
