There are hyacinths which have bloomed in my yard. Can I transplant them into a better area right now in mid April without hurting them?

It will be best for the plants if you wait until the leaves have died down on their own and the bulbs have gone dormant. If you dig them while the leaves are still green, the foliage will die before it has had a chance to transport carbohydrates back down into the bulbs for next year's floral display. Leave them alone for now and move them after the foliage has died down on its own. Enjoy your garden!
