|Watering is plant specific as far as needs go, but the best time to water is in the morning so the foliage has a chance to dry before nightfall. Dry leaves by dusk and overnight will help keep your plants disease free. It doesn't matter what time of day you water your indoor plants because temperatures are usually warm enough to help the leaves dry within a few hours. Plants in containers usually require more frequent watering than the same plants in the ground so check those first and water as often as necessary. Outdoor shrubs and trees need one inch of water per week so deeply soak them once or twice a week during the warmest summer months. Hope this information helps.
