|I have a significant number of daffodils planted in my lawn. Each spring they are a delight. However, I never know how long to wait after they finish blooming before I cut the lawn.

|Bulbs get most of their energy for next years bloom from this year's leaves. Therefore it is always suggested that you let the leaves die back before cutting them off. Depending on how formal your lawn is, that may be a bit late. I guess I would give them a good feeding with a bulb fertilizer now and be sure it gets watered in, either with rain or a hose. Then hold off as long as you can before cutting the lawn. But when the grass needs cutting...it needs cutting! Hopefully the fertilizer will have done the trick!
