| Ginger will grow in morning sun and afternoon shade, or in bright shade. Avoid hot afternoon sunshine. It likes rich, moist soil so be sure to water deeply and then allow the soil to dry slightly before watering again. Mulch around the plant to help slow water evaporation. Feed your ginger with a general purpose garden fertilizer or with a water soluable liquid fertilizer such as Miracle Gro. Enjoy your ginger! |
