Unfortunately, weed control in daylilies can be difficult. Established perennial broadleaf weeds can be extremely difficult to control, because any broadleaf weed killer you might use will also kill your daylilies. Fortunately, annual grassy weeds can be easily controlled with mulches and the use of selective herbicides.

I can only suggest you hand pull broadleaf weeds, use a grassy weed killer to get rid of the grassy weeds, and then put a 2-3 inch layer of mulch over the bare soil to keep new weed seeds from germinating. You can apply a pre emergent product to keep new weeds from sprouting in the bed. There are several pre emergents available so read the label to be sure the product is safe to use near daylilies.
