|Hi there. I have 2 friends that both of their Saint Augustine lawn is dying in some spots and not growing properly on the rest of the lawn. What can they do to get the lawns started right. They have being fertilize with weed preventer in the fall and in the spring. What else can they do. We live in Lewisville Texas. Thanks

|Adequate water, fertilizer and warm temperatures are about all St. Augustine needs in order to thrive so if the lawns are not greening up, there may be a disease problem. Sounds like they've done just about everything else necessary. So have them scout for fungal diseases or insects - that might be the problem.
