|I grew a mango plant from store bought mango seeds; it is about 4-5 years old now and about 7-8 feet tall. I've always kept it in the house watering when dry. The leaves are big & bright but the stems and trunks are not more than a few inches wide. Can I transplant this to the yard? I live in Georgia -- zip code 30024? Will it bear fruit? Thanks so much!

|Mango trees are tropical in nature so they grow best in frost free gardening regions. If your garden never or rarely gets frost, you can grow it outdoors. If it does get frost on a regular basis, it would be best to keep your mango tree indoors. Best wishes with your mango!
