My lavender plant got very big last summer, so i moved it. Now the branches seem dry. Do I have to cut it down to get new growth or just leave it? I planted it 2 years ago. Thanks

Lavender should be lightly trimmed each year after it has finished flowering to keep it neat and dense. Once it becomes woody, it won't produce new foliage. You can cut yours back a little but don't cut it back too drastically or it may not develop new foliage. Just remember to trim it back a little each year and it should perform well for you. Hope so!
