shasa daisy lenky stems - Knowledgebase Question

I have shasta daisy plants that get vrey tall but they do not stay straight up, they bend to teh ground. Is the root not strong enough to support the long stems?
need avise.

Sometimes the flowers are too heavy for the stems and they tend to flop over, especially after a rain or when watered from overhead. You can stake the stems up or just accept the plants the way they are. Too much nitrogen fertilizer and not enough sunshine can make the stems thin, as well so make sure you are not feeding your Shasta daisies and provide as much sunsine as possible. Enjoy!
