I think you have a great idea for a book! The best way to learn through other's experiences is to interview gardeners, visit their gardens and listen to their stories. Garden clubs, community college gardening classes, Master Gardener groups and community gardens are all in your community, I'm sure. Just contact them (you'll find a list at your local library) and I'm sure you'll end up with more information than you can possibly include in your book. You might also do a web search on Garden Writers of America. They have local chapters and lots of published authors to glean information from. Best wishes with your new book!
