|My question deals with what to feed an old Hydrangea plant that my neighbor dug up to throw away! I rescued it last fall and now the leaves are developing nicely. However, the leaves are a little lighter green in some places, and think it just may need a little food. The soil is very rich and black and it is in partial shade/sun. Thanks for any advice you can give me!
|To help your hydrangea perk up, broadcast about 1/4 pound of 12-6-6 around the base of your shrub, and water it in well. This formulation is high nitrogen and will help your plant green up nicely.|
