I have a plant, which looks like a pinapple top, that the tip of the leaves are turning brown. I clipped that portion off and now a couple of the leaves are turning yellow. Its a very slow growing plant, it hasn't grown much at all in two years. What am I doing wrong with this plant?

Brown tips are a symptom of over watering or dry air. Cutting off the browned areas will remove them for a time but the plant will then try to close off the damaged tissues which will result in more browing of the leaf. Try watering less often, allowing the top half inch of soil to dry out between waterings. You might also mist your plant daily to help increase humidity. I think this will help. Hope so!
