I have strawberries that are being eaten by something. It could be an armadillo, possum, or squirrel. What can I do to scare them away?

How about just draping bird netting over the plants? Or, driving stakes into the ground at 24" intervals, securing bird netting to the stakes and anchoring it down at the soil level. This will allow bees to enter and pollinate the flowers so you get berries but will exclude the critters feasting on your plants and berries. Good luck with your garden!
