Uh oh! These products usually kill the tops and the roots of grass and can sometimes sterilize the soil if they are applied too heavily. Start by flooding the area to try to leach out the excess salts. Repeat flooding will dilute whatever is still there. Wait 2-3 days between attempts to flood the product out of the soil. After 3 floodings, give your lawn 2-3 weeks to green up. If you have definite dead areas you will need to dig them out and dig a little compost into the soil and then reseed the areas.
