|Last summer I planted 2 Double Knock Out Roses. The bloomed nicely all summer. This spring they look very gangly and mishaped. They have leaves on them. Can I shape them now without harming them? Also, what type of fertilizer is best to use on them?
|You can prune your Knock Out roses now without harming them. As a matter of fact they can be pruned at any time of year. I usually cut mine back in the spring and they grow nicely all summer long. You can feed your roses with a general purpose garden fertilizer - a 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 would be just fine. enjoy your roses!|
