Moss is usually an indication of soil compaction, poor fertility, poor drainage and low soil pH. You can spread some organic matter over the bed and dig it in to loosen the soil and add some nutrients and also help it drain faster. Applying lime will mellow the soil's pH. A combination of these treatments should eliminate moss from your flower beds.
