My husband planted two flowering dogwood trees 2 years ago and they don't bloom. They go straight to green leaves. What is wrong?

Sometimes dogwood trees take a few years to get established in the garden and mature enough before they can set flowers. I suspect your trees are just too immature to flower. Give them another year or two and they should be ready to bloom Best wishes with your trees!
