You can plant your mandarin tree in a container and prune it to keep it small. Citrus trees are not very frost tolerant so plan on taking your tree indoors over the winter months and then back outdoors in the spring and summer months. Indoors it will need bright light, either near a window or under a gro lamp. Enjoy your tree!
