|We moved in our home and the lawn was already in and growing well. The previous owner said he had Tifgreen grass. What is it? Where can I get it? Is it a seed or turf.|
|'Tifgreen' is a variety of bermudagrass. It is semi-dwarf and used extensively throughout the south for athletic fields and golf courses. It is sold as sod, plugs and sprigs, but not seed, as it must be vegetatively propagated. |
Check with local turf suppliers for a source in your area. Your yellow pages should list a number of local sources.
