We moved in our home and the lawn was already in and growing well. The previous owner said he had Tifgreen grass. What is it? Where can I get it? Is it a seed or turf. |
'Tifgreen' is a variety of bermudagrass. It is semi-dwarf and used extensively throughout the south for athletic fields and golf courses. It is sold as sod, plugs and sprigs, but not seed, as it must be vegetatively propagated. Check with local turf suppliers for a source in your area. Your yellow pages should list a number of local sources. |
