Snails like to hide in moist, shady areas. As the weather warms and your turf dries out, they should leave on their own. They are hiding but they may also be feeding on your lawn if there are no other plants around. A good control for snails is an iron based product called Sluggo. Snails and slugs eat the bait and go away to die. Be sure to apply according to label directions.
