Am I suppose to cut the stalks back after my daffodils and dutch iris have finished blooming or stake them up?

When the flowers are spent, cut the flowering stalks down to foliage level. Be sure to allow the foliage to die down on its own, then pull the dead leaves away. Your daffodils and Dutch iris will show up again early next spring. Enjoy your garden.
