There are dozens of plants that will provide color and texture in your protected garden. Begonias and Coleus, Impatiens, Bleeding Heart, Daylilies, Phlox, Hellebores, Browallia, Primrose and Violets will all add seasonal color. Some are perennials and will come back year after year. There are dozens of ferns, with different shaped leaves and growth habits, plus several creeping plants that will love living in your atrium garden. Try Lamium, Sweet Woodruff, wild ginger and Epimedium for interesting groundcover. A spectacular addition would be fuchsias in several different flower colors and shapes.
