|I had new sod laid last year. After I applied fertilizer it turned yellow. I need to know what do I need to do to get the pretty thick green grass back?

|It may be that you didn't water enough after applying the fertilizer, or you applied more than the recommended amount, which can burn the roots. About the only thing you can do now is water deeply and thoroughly once or twice a week to flush excess fertilizer out and to encourage deep root growth. Some turfs don't need a lot of fertilizer so find out what type of grass your turf is so you can find out how much and when to feed it. You might even check with the company that orginally installed your turf - wish I more ideas!
