Last year we had asp all over our live oak trees!!! I do not want to go through that again this year. What can we do to make sure we do not have them again this year, and if we do how do we need to treat them?? Are they a danger to our trees??? |
Mexican honey wasp is common all over South Texas and their nests will not harm your trees. You can discourage them when they first begin building their nests if you direct a strong stream of water on the nest - repeatedly if necessary. There are no registered control to use against them. For updated information you might want to contact your local cooperative extension office. Best wishes with your oak trees. |
