Because of a large deer population here, I have had to plant a BTFig in a large pot. It gets appx 5hrs of sun per day. This yr is the 2nd yr it's been in the pot & seems to be growing well, but I don't see any beginnings of fruit yet. A neighbor has a very old, large fig, & it has lots of small fruit on it. When can I expect to see little figs this yr??

Most fig trees begin to fruit when they are about 5 years old so you have a little more time to wait. In order for the figs to ripen, your tree will need all day sunshine so you may want to consider moving it to another location once it begins to flower. Best wishes with your fig tree!
