how should i plant and what supports should i use for my string beans

If you have the room, you can make a teepee for your beans to grow on by using bamboo poles or wooden stakes. I use 3 stakes an equal distance away from each other, in a triangle. Pound them into the ground and then tie the tops together so it looks like a teepee. Plant your seeds at the bases of each of the stakes, planting one inch deep and 4-5 inches apart. As the bean plants grow, guide them to twine around the poles. They will grow upwards of 5-6 feet so use tall stakes. Enjoy!
