I have a garden of potted plants. after transplant they usually die. i plant them in pots with plenty of room, water daily, and feed weekly. i chose plants that need plenty of sun, and they get a ton if it. i dont know what i am doing wrong, please help!

How disappointing for you! Plants in pots can dry out quickly but I wonder if daily watering is a bit too much? The soil needs to dry out slightly between waterings or the saturated soil can suffocate the roots. The other concern with plants in pots is that the hot afternoon sunshine, if it directly hits the containers, can actually cook the roots. So, try to group the pots so they help shade one another, or set them behind a large rock or low growing shrub. This will at least keep the pots from becoming overheated. Water thoroughly when you do water, but allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Hope this helps.
