| Since you will need to rototill or dig the area and level it, then lay sand as a base for your pavers, you can simply till over the remaining grass and roots, then rake them out prior to laying the sand base. Or you can use a vegetation killer such as Round Up. You will still want to rake to remove the old grass and there will be a waiting period before you can plant in the area. Either way, you will have a clean slate for laying your pavers. |
