I have a dwarf lemon and lime tree both are in pots. They have a lot of very small fruit but it is falling off and some is even turning yellow and falling off. Am I watering too much or not enough?

Both fruit drop and leaf drop are normal with citrus. Citrus trees naturally thin out excess fruits which are those that the tree does not have the energy reserves to fully develop to maturity. As an evergreen, citrus trees drop some of their oldest leaves, which are replaced with healthy new leaves. If your tree has healthy new growth, don't worry too much about the dropped fruit or shed leaves. Citrus like moist soils but not soggy wet soils. When you water, water throughly and then allow the top half inch of soil to dry out before watering again. Best wishes with your trees.
