We transplanted 3 crepe myrtles in the fall. Only 1 is leafing out. Though the others are still green when I scratch the bark, they have no leaves. What can I do to help them along |
Lots of things can stress your crape myrtles and make them slow to leaf out. Give them another few weeks to respond to the weather and break out of their dormancy. Green tissue beneath the bark is a good sign - it means the branch is alive. Just be a little more patient with your crape myrtles. Best wishes with them! |
