I recently had a Chanticleer Pear tree planted. I did not ask if it was deciduous or not. The flowers died off and now there are now little round things on stems. Is this a fruiting tree or are these just remnants of the flowers that will drop off?

Chanticleer is a flowering, or ornamental, pear tree and will not bear fruit. It will grow 25' to 50' feet tall. All pear trees are deciduous, meaning they will lose their leaves in the autumn, and grow new leaves in the springtime.
