|i need some suggestions for a plant that has flowers and can grow on a trelice and also likes shade? The area gets app 1-3 hrs of sun per day.

|Unfortunately, the flowering climbers tend to prefer sun. You could try the sweet autumn clematis (Clematis paniculata now sometimes listed as C. terniflora) or the climbing hydrangea (Hydrangea petiolaris) if there is some direct sun reaching the spot where it would be planted. Otherwise, perhaps Parthenocissus or Silver Lace Vine will work for you.
