what is the best way to recapture a 5 acre tract from grown over weeds, brush, black berry bushes, etc. |
Tilling and raking out all the debris, along with the roots of the berry plants will work best. If you use a brush killer or vegetation killer you will have to reapply and you'll still have to drag or rake out the debris so I'd go that route first. After tilling and dragging all the vegetation out you can spot treat if anything attempts to grow again. I think I'd start small and work my way around the property. Five acres sounds like a lot of work! |
