| What type of stone do you recommend for the pathways between raised garden beds? Pets and kids will be walking on them. Any recommendation other than stone pathways? Thanks |
| Stepping stones, flagstone, bricks, field stone, or crushed rock pathways are all easy maintenance. If you go with crushed rocks, use 3/4 to 3/8 inch size. Rocks of this size do not shift underfoot the way pea gravel can. There are some walkable groundcovers available but with kids and pets I would be cautious. Most of these plants will flower and attract bees - not much fun for barefoot kids! |
