I live in GA and we have kudzu and nusance vines everywhere, how do you get rid of them. Everytime I look they are trying to take over my trees, and they kill them.

Kudzu is a vigorous invasive vine in the warm and rainy southeastern U.S. It can be controlled in home landscapes by the tedious process of digging or by repeatedly mowing the vine close to the ground as it attempts to resprout. This drains the vine of its food reserves weakening and killing it over the course of a year or two. Another option is to dab a strong solution of glyphosate (Roundup and Kleenup are two example products) on the cut ends of the vine. This is most effective late in the season as the vine translocates the herbicide down doing damage to the below ground parts of the plant. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
