I'm not sure which hydrangea you have, but I hope it is Hydrangea macrophylla 'Bailmer', also called Endless Summer. This is the best type of hydrangea for your growing region because it flowers on new growth each year. It grows best in morning sun and afternoon shade, or even full shade. Avoid hot afternoon sunshine, though. Water it deeply once or twice a week and feed each spring with a general garden fertilizer. Enjoy your new plant!
