is it safe,to protect from freezing to plant climbing rose plants in containers.what are some other triling/climbing plants i can use for long periods of blooming,i'm in the new york metro area |
Nearly any plant will adapt to growing in a container so choose your favorites. Climbing roses are good in containers, as are lots of climbing annuals such as scarlet runner bean, hyacinth bean, sweet peas, black eyed susan vine. You can start these from seeds, enjoy them all summer and then pull the plants out at the end of the season. Next spring you can plant new seeds. Enjoy your container garden! |
