you answered my question about how far apart my apple trees are suppose to be for pollennating. next question is......do they have to be the same kinda apple tree or can they be different . thanks for your help. im learning more everyday about gardening an planting from the garden club

Some apple trees are called self-fruitful but all will benefit from having a different type of apple growing in the same garden. I don't remember which tree you purchased so I can't make a suggestion as to which other apple would be best. Best wishes with your new tree!
