|I am in Marietta, GA helping my daughter with lawn care. She has many red bugs that seems to be mostly around hostas and throughout mulch (newly dropped pine tree mulch). What are they and how can we get rid of them. The only pest control she has is termite. Also she has many bees. She can only tolerate sunning for 30 minutes because of them. Any advice for keeping these bees away.

|Those pests sound like leaf beetles and the population is really large in Georgia. You can try controlling them with Neem Oil or using Bayer's Advanced Rose & Flower systemic on your plants. Good luck with your project!
