I bought two foxgloves from home depot that are labeled as perennials yet when I researched on them they actually are two year plants. Is that true?

Of the many foxgloves available, two are hardy perennials, while the rest are biennial. Most biennial foxgloves reseed themselves in the garden. Digitalis purpurea is the biennial foxglove; Digitalis x mertonensis is the perennial type. Check the label on your plants and the botanical name should clear up any confusion. Enjoy your new plants.
