I tryed the borax for creeping charley it worked. Now I have the wild African violet which I tried to kill with weed killer. The only way to kill it is to use a weed killer but it kills your lawn. I try to pull in out but it comes back.

Wild violets are difficult to eradicate because even if the tops are killed back, stored energy from the bulb allows new foliage to emerge. Herbicides available to homeowners are ineffective against wild violets. The only sure way of getting rid of the weedy plant is to dig it up, bulb and all. Wish I had an easier solution!
