After my lilac blooms, the leaves get brown spots and edges and look very ugly in my garden. What can I do?

Lilac leaf blight is common in the Pacific Northwest and the best approach is to prune your lilacs back immediately after flowering. Pruning stimulates healthy new growth, removes the older, most blight susceptible leaves, and ensures you'll have lots of flowers the following year. Best wishes with your lilacs.
